Flowers for our mums
Sunday was Mother's Day – and of course we wanted to bring a little joy to the mums at home. With great eagerness, wildflowers were picked during our walk and then arranged into colourful bouquets in hand-crafted vases.

Every vase one of a kind, every bouquet a little work of art – all made with lots of love.

Village festival in Elgg
Right on cue for the weekend, there was plenty going on in the village: the festival in Elgg drew us outside with all sorts of programme. On the square there was a huge stage, along with ice cream, a great atmosphere and even ear protection for sensitive ears.

Giant soap bubbles and a story hour
A clear highlight: the station with the giant soap bubbles. With great concentration and wide eyes, the children conjured up bubbles as big as their heads – and loved doing it again and again.

In between, we listened intently to a story hour and, of course, treated ourselves to another ice cream to keep our strength up.
Glitter on our faces – and a special night out
At the face-painting stand, sparkling works of art appeared on foreheads and cheeks, so that by the end everyone looked a little as though they had stepped out of a fairy tale.

And our oldest teen? In the evening they got to enjoy a truly special experience: a backstage visit with the Stubete Gäng. With shining eyes, they later headed back – a day that no one will forget in a hurry.
