Sunshine, forest and a crackling fire
At the April relief weekend, we were finally able to enjoy the warm spring sunshine again. Highly motivated, we set off by bus towards the forest – even the journey was a little adventure for many of us.

Once we arrived at the barbecue spot, twist-bread dough was wound onto sticks, sausages were placed on the grill and we watched the embers together. As smoke and sunbeams danced through the trees, there was laughter, chatter and plenty of contented grilling.
Playground, flowers and an ice cream to finish
After lunch, we carried on to the playground. The big swing had a magical pull on everyone – upright, upside down or three at a time: the main thing was to go as high as possible.

In between, flowers were picked along the way, little games were played and, of course, there was no doing without the ice cream that made every face light up.
Tired, happy, full
After so many impressions, the energy eventually ran out – and so everyone soon snuggled into their sleeping spots. Whether on a mattress, in a sleeping bag or under a favourite blanket: everyone slept deeply and soundly.

A weekend that reminded us all once again how wonderful shared time in nature can be. We are already looking forward to the next time!
